To the west, we're a block from the restaurants of Wells Street and Old Town. North a couple of blocks is Lincoln Park. East is the lake, with a modern underpass (easy for the bikes, strollers, and anything on wheels) right at North Ave.

To the south a few blocks are the raucous bars of Division Street, and just beyond are the restaurants of Rush Street.

You've noticed the pattern: everything's in walking distance.

And if you want public transportation, we've got two major bus routes (#22 Clark and #36 Broadway) right at our front door, the #156 LaSalle just behind us, and the Red Line subway a couple of blocks south at Division. Cabs - 24-hours a day - are at our front door as well.
